Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This policy explains how Charlotte Kewley ("I", "me") collects and uses personal information through this website. I am the data controller for that information. If you have any questions, email mail@charlottekewley.com.
What I collect
- Enquiries. Your name, email address and message when you use the contact form, and anything you tell me if you email or phone.
- Technical information. Your IP address and browser details, which are processed by my hosting provider and by Google reCAPTCHA to keep the website secure and free of spam.
- Usage information. If you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics records which pages are visited, the type of device and browser used, and an approximate location.
How I use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange any work that follows. This is in my legitimate interests, or a step towards a contract with you.
- To protect the website from spam and misuse. This is in my legitimate interests.
- To understand how the website is used so I can improve it. This happens only with your consent.
I do not sell your information, and I will not add you to a mailing list without asking you first.
Who I share it with
- 20i Limited, which hosts this website and my email in the United Kingdom.
- Google, which provides reCAPTCHA, Google Fonts and, if you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics. Google may process information outside the United Kingdom. This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
I may also share information where the law requires it.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries for as long as I need them to deal with your request and any work that comes from it, and then delete them. The website also keeps a log of messages sent through the contact form for a limited time, so that delivery problems can be fixed. Statistics are kept for the period set in Google Analytics.
Cookies
This website uses cookies. You can read about them, and change your choice at any time, in the Cookie Policy.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask me to:
- give you a copy of the information I hold about you
- correct information that is wrong
- delete your information
- limit or stop the way I use it
- send your information to you or to someone else in a portable format
Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To use any of these rights, email mail@charlottekewley.com. If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

This website is not aimed at children, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
